Solid or multiwall polycarbonate — which to process for your project

Multiwall polycarbonate is lighter and insulates better thermally — standard for terrace roofing, pergolas, greenhouses and carports. We machine both types mechanically; polycarbonate reacts to heat differently than acrylic, so for shape cutting we mainly use mechanical machining and milling, with parameters tailored to the material and thickness.
