Cutting plastics to size (panel sizing)
Panel cutting is precise sizing of plastic sheets into rectangular panels of given dimensions — on a panel saw, with a straight, clean edge, from a single piece to large batches. PLEXIPOL sizes acrylic (PMMA), polycarbonate, PVC, HIPS and other sheets in Warsaw. It’s the simplest and cheapest processing when you need a sheet cut to size without shapes — for shapes and contours use laser cutting or milling.
What is panel cutting
A panel saw cuts a sheet along straight lines, producing rectangular panels of precise dimensions. It’s the right process for rectangular parts: shelves, dividers, glazing, guard panels, mounting plates. For non-standard shapes, holes and contours choose laser cutting or CNC milling.

FAQ
What’s the difference between panel and laser cutting?
Panel (saw) cutting gives rectangular panels and is cheapest for straight cuts. Laser cuts any shapes and contours and polishes the acrylic edge during cutting.
Is the edge after the saw transparent?
No — it’s raw, cut. If it needs to be transparent, we add edge polishing.
