PETG (copolyester glycol) offers outstanding optical clarity — used wherever glass is too heavy and PMMA acrylic is too brittle. BPA-free, easy to machine and thermoform. Edges bond without solvents.

Opal & diffusion variants

Opal PETG is primarily used as a diffuser in LED light boxes and backlit signs. Griphen Opal 30/80 — numbers indicate light transmission (LT%). HIPEX G J701–J708 features varying diffusion levels.

PETG has a limited colour range — mostly clear/opal. For colour applications, consider PMMA acrylic or PVC foam board. Opal and UV variants available on request.
